  1. Five whole months for me to rant on how my Lions got shafted out of Monday Night Football again.
The Jets get a game. The 49s get a game. Your Raiders get a game. The Texans get a game. The Bills get a game. The Bucs get a game. There are a half dozen teams with two apperances on MNF this year and not a single Lions game.
Who did Ford tick off this time around?!
I guess Miami and Detroit forgot to send in their RSVPs.

  2. Jersey McJones says:

My Jets – your Raiders – week 7. Feel the pain!!!

    JMJ

  3. chris naron says:

Very division heavy for the Raiders up front, early bye. Could be a disaster if there hasn’t been marked improvement. On the other hand, early division wins could go a long way to help their confidence.

  4. Tim B. says:

Bills get ten wins, including vs. the Fins in Toronto, and make the playoffs as a wild card.

I guess Pissed Off Tree Rat and I are the lonesome twosome…I have been a Lions fan since 1965…and the only light I can see is that I was an Atlanta Braves fan before they started winning…of course, the Braves’ slump was only about 25 years…the Lions are about a hundred years old…

But the football title begged me to introduce a short topic… in our Arabic culture class, the instructor explained how Arabs invented Math, numbers, the alphabet, and most everything else. He also professed that Muslims believe in the Old Testament and use it as supporting documentation for the Koran. I asked him whether they still believed in blood sacrifice. He kindly explained that ever since God too the knife from Abraham’s hands as he was about to sacrifice Ishmael, human blood sacrifice was no longer necessary… and the Brit play football too…
