Connecticut Tragedy–Just the facts
Only days after a tragic shooting at a shopping mall in Portland, Oregon left two people dead, a much larger tragedy took place in Newtown, Connecticut. A twenty-year-old man named Adam Lanza entered the Sandy Hook Elementary School and began shooting everyone in range. Reports reflected 26 people killed at the school in addition to the shooter, with twenty of them being children.
In the coming days there will be more briefings, but for now Police Chief Vance is rightfully asking for patience. Getting this right is far more important than spreading misinformation. All the rest of us can do for now is wait and pray.
