Sunday, September 22, 1pm

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints (-2 1/2) — The Eagles bungled away the game last week. The Saints are a pinball machine, and no, drew Brees did not return. This is the week to see if the saints can handle prosperity. Saints cover

1pm

Carolina Panthers at Las Vegas Raiders (-5) — The Raiders had an inspired road win at Baltimore, and now they get the worst team in the league at home.Yet the Raiders have decades of experience playing down to their competition. They will make it tougher on themselves than it needs to be. Raiders win but fail to cover

The Ravens are desperate not to go 0-3, but the Cowboys are also desperate. Lamar Jackson is better than Dad Prescott, and the Ravens run the ball better. Ravens cover

San Francisco 49ers (-7) at Los Angeles Rams — Both teams had surprising road losses last week, with the Rams getting blasted. The rams lost Cooper Kupp to injury. The 49ers always seem to have the Rams number, but the spread is high. 49ers win but fail to cover
