NFL 2025 Week 14 Prequel

Dallas Cowboys at Detroit Lions (-3) — The cowboys have won 2 straight but this week the Lions right the ship. Both teams have plenty of  talent on offense, Go with the home field. Lions cover

Seattle Seahawks (-7) at Atlanta Falcons — The Seahawks are a good team. The Falcons are not. The spread is high for a road team. If the Falcons can get Bijan Robinson going, they can defeat the spread. Seahawks win but fail to cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens (-6) — Both teams are in desperation mode. The Steelers got crushed at home by Buffalo to fall to 6-6. The ravens suffered an embarrassing home loss to Cincinnati. These teams play close games. Go with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. Ravens win but fail to cover

Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns (-4) — Both teams are bad. The Browns have a defense, with myles Garrett playing with abandon. The Titans are hopeless. Browns cover

Indianapolis Colts (-1 1/2) at Jacksonville Jaguars — Both teams are 8-4. Jonathan Taylor and Travis Etienne both run wild. Trevor Lawrence is playing like the top overall pick he was. Daniel Jones is playing injured. Upset special,, Jaguars win outright

Washington Commanders at Minnesota Vikings (-2) — Both teams were very good last year and very bad this year. The Commanders let a heartbreaker last week against Denver. This is one to go with the home field. Vikings cover.

Miami Dolphins (-3) at New York Jets — Both teams are terrible. The Jets got a win last week and are at home again. Go with the home field. Jets cover

New Orleans Saints at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8 1/2) — The Saints are awful and the Buccaneers stopped a three game losing streak. Baker Mayfield has plenty of weapons. Buccaneers cover

Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills (-5 1/2) — The Bills went into Pittsburgh and smacked around Baltimore. The Bengals did the same at Baltimore. The return of Joe Burrow clearly sparked the Bengals. Home field will not matter. The Bengals have won this matchup in recent years. Bills win but fail to cover

Denver Broncos (-7 1/2) at Las Vegas Raiders — The Broncos are one of the best teams in the league. The Raiders may not beat a high school team. Yet the Raiders took the Broncos to the limit in Denver. The spread is high for a road team and Denver tends to play close games. The issue is that the Raiders offensive line is a mess. The Broncos have a defense. The Broncos barely survived Washington last week. Broncos win but fail to dover

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers (-6 1/2) The Bears silenced a ton of critics last week by going into Philadelphia and smacking them around. The Bears have the best record in the conference, but asking them to then win at Green Bay is a lot to ask. The Bears have finally earned the benefit of the doubt, but Jordan love at home should be able to trains running. Packers win but fail to cover

Los Angeles Rams (-8 1/2) at Arizona Cardinals — The Rams will be angry after stumbling at Carolina. The Cardinals are awful. A garbage touchdown in the desert is possible, but the Rams will right the ship without too much trouble. Rams win but fail to cover

Houston Texans at Kansas City Chiefs (-3 1/2) — The Chiefs at 6-6 are on the brink. The Texans have a great defense but Patrick Mahomes at home should keep the Chiefs alive. The Chiefs play close games and the Texans do not blow teams out. Chiefs win but fail to cover

Philadelphia Eagles (-3) at Los Angeles Chargers — The Eagles will be angry after losing at home to Chicago. The Chargers are playing well but the Eagles have a good defense. Eagles cover
