Do any liberals pay taxes?

It seems that half of the Democratic Party consists of beggars demanding tax credits for taxes they don’t pay.

The other half of the party consists of guilty white uber-wealthy leftists demanding that the rich pay their fare share, which they then don’t pay.

Is there a single liberal politician paying taxes anywhere in this country?

Bill and Hillary Clinton got into the Whitewater scandal as James B. McDougal had to explain to Hillary that she could not take tax deductions for interest on mortgages when she was not the one paying the interest.

John Kerry docked his Massachusetts yacht in New Hampshire to save $500,000.

Tom Daschle was going to run the entire health care industry in America despite not being able to keep track of his own financial “oversights.”

Kathleen Sebelius somehow did get the job despite having the same “mistake” in her background.

Claire McCaskill was a prosecutor who built her career on ethics reform while apparently lacking in her own career.

Charles Rangel was in charge of writing the entire tax code while flouting it.

Timothy Geithner is in charge of the entire economy, yet the man famous for understanding complex derivatives at Goldman Sachs could not grasp Turbotax.

Now we find out that General Electric made 14 billion dollars in profits last year and paid zero taxes.

Do any liberals anywhere pay taxes? If Joe Biden truly believes that paying taxes is patriotic, is he saying that the entire Democratic Party is unpatriotic?

Some will point out that General Electric did nothing illegal. They took advantage of tax loopholes.

In a vacuum this would be correct. In real life, this is nonsense.

GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt is a left-wing shill for the Obama administration. He has taken the company Jack Welch turned into a global powerhouse and destroyed shareholder wealth. He did this by turning the company from a productive company into a “green” company. He embraced the radical environmental agenda at the expense of corporate profits.

(Ironically, Mr. Immelt had no problem doing business with Iran, which hates environmental laws more than they hate synagogues and churches.)

Mr. Immelt also turned over MSNBC and NBC to the Obama administration and made those networks worship at his altar. One anchor had a tingling thrill up his leg hearing Mr. Obama. What the anchors at both of these Obama networks lost was ratings. Again, value was destroyed for politics.

Mr. Obama returned the favor, and we now see that GE gets special tax breaks. This is on top of the promotion that Mr. Immelt got to become the top economic adviser to Mr. Obama.

Besides being a political leftist, what are Mr. Immelt’s qualifications?

Imagine if George W. Bush had appointed the head of Enron to a top cabinet post? Leftist heads would explode and burn out faster than GE light florescent bulbs.

(The left did accuse George W. Bush of having an Enron connection, seeing as both he and the company were located in the state of Texas. Any day now Howard Dean could be arrested for eating Ben and Jerry’s ice cream since they are both in Vermont and share a liberal ideology.)

So GE gives Obama favorable media coverage and embraces his agenda, and Obama gives them tax breaks and promotes Immelt.

Does nobody on the left see a problem with this?

Where are the liberals howling about obscene profits?

So the next time liberals talk about raising taxes on the “rich,” just remember that they really mean taxing Republicans and conservatives. After all, those seem to be the only people paying the taxes anyway.
