Yesterday, on Halloween, a friend of mine became a proud father.
Today, he is a grieving father. His newborn son died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
I am taking the day off. I don’t feel like blogging today.
May God bless him and his family, and that is that.

Events like this hit you like a lightning bolt. My prayers and sympathies to this man and his family. As a father I can only begin to comprehend.
Oh man. My condolences.
Peace, JMJ
My thoughts and prayers go out to your friend.
I am so sorry to hear about this, Eric.
God bless your friend and his family, and you too. You are a wonderful and caring friend.
I can’t even imagine your friend’s grief. Prayers for him and his family, and thank goodness he has friends like you, Eric.
Eric –
We’re so very, very sorry. Baby is safe in God’s hands, and we’re praying for your friends at this very terrible time of loss, and for you.
God bless. Take care.
So very sorry for your friend and the entire family. Our neighbor experienced a similar tragedy several years ago, and because of strong support from family and friends and by the grace of God, they were able to work through the grief. I’ll pray for your friend and his family.
