Nobody got clocked. That’s the whole point. It was a tight race. Yes Brookfield would go right, but the sheer number of votes, and the balance of them, demands investigation. If it’s clean, well, then Brookfielders are very active Republicans who need a better county clerk. If it’s dirty, then the clerk is up a creek and not alone.
