Benghazi, the IRS, and a press conference filibuster
President Obama and his British counterpart David Cameron held a joint press conference to reaffirm the special relationship and talk about nothing in particular.
With many unanswered questions about Benghazi and IRS abuses of conservatives, an American reporter did ask Obama when he actually learned the truth about the IRS and Benghazi, respectively. She wanted to know if he deliberately left out mentions of al-Qaeda, and if the White House misled the public.
Naturally, the correct answer to that last question is yes, and Obama welled up with righteous indignation to say “no.”
Then Obama began a filibuster that could teach Rand Paul or even Strom Thurmond a few things about holding court.
