Saturday is the Shabbos, the Jewish Sabbath.
Some people celebrate Shabbos (Shabbat) every week. Others do so almost never.
As for me, this week I am enjoying a nice Shabbos in Atlanta, Georgia, before flying home to Los Angeles on Saturday night.
Shabbos is a day of quiet reflection. The world will survive without my internet musings for one day.
As for me, it would do me good to tear myself away for once. Football will be there on Sunday and politics on Monday.
This Saturday will be between me and God. I should spend much more time with him, but this is a start.
