January 9, 2010–The anniversary of my being

Today is the anniversary of my being. At 6:28pm EST, I turn 38.

For lunch I am spending my birthday speaking to the American River Republican Women’s Federated.

I then hightail it back to Los Angeles for my 8pm birthday party in Beverly Hills.

I met a 12 year old girl yesterday in temple named Julie. Today is her bat mitzvah. I hope she has a successful bat mitzvah.

My Uncle Joey just had a surgical procedure. My birthday wish obviously centers around his health.

As for present, the best present I could ask for besides being surrounded by friends is gorging on the NFL Wildcard games. I predict:

Eagles @ Cowboys–Eagles win

Jets @ Bengals–Bengals win

Packers @ Cardinals–Cardinals win

Ravens @ Patriots–Patriots win

Oh yeah, and to that Republican brunette:

    Happy Birthday!!! Now, hurry up and get married! LOL!

    I agree about the (team that shall not be mentioned) beating the Cowboys, but it’s going to be a close one. On the other hand, if the Boys can get anough pressure on McNabb, and if – if – they can keep Romo out of trouble, they could win it. The Dallas O-Line is the question mark on this one.

    I disagree about the Jets/Bengals game. I think Ryan plays Sanchez safe and the Jets #1 defense and #1 running game win the day. The Bengals are a tired team. It’s been a long, tough season for them. the Jets, on the other hand, have the wind behind them right now.

    I disagree with the Cards/Pack pick. I say the Pack wins and probably goes all the way to the Big One. I think GB might be the best – or let’s say “most balanced” – team out there this year.

    I’m on the fence with the Ravens/Pats game, but lean toward agreement. However, it will also be a close one. Could go either way. The Pats have some serious problems the Ravens could – could – exploit.
