Jews are now celebrating their New Year, Rosh Hashanah.
After a few days in Oakland, Rosh Hashanah has me in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
With the world being on fire, some will wonder how I can just step away for a couple days. The fact that the world is on fire is the precise exact reason stepping away for Rosh Hashanah is the right thing to do.
Besides, the world will be here when I get back and no one is indispensable.
To Jews everywhere, may you be inscribed in the book of life. May a sweet New Year await you all.
