Bernie Goldberg, Armstrong Williams, and more

I had the pleasure recently of meeting Bernie Goldberg.

He gave a lecture at the Nixon Library. His most recent book, “A slobbering love affair,” is a fun read.

Normally my formulaic version of a column would involve excerpts from his speech, followed by my encounter with him. I am afraid Bernie Goldberg will have to be cheated out of that honor. I missed his entire speech.

Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Pouring rain, bad directions, and traffic from Los Angeles to Orange County rendered the tickets my friend and I purchased a worthless investment. Unlike the stock market, I cannot even blame Barack Obama for this purchase reaching a state of valuelessness.

In the Jewish community, which is mainly liberal, the trains run on JST, that being Jewish Standard Time. Yet Bernie Goldberg is a Republican Jew. His remarks started on time, and ended on time. My friend and I arrived as he was finishing.

Before the doors opened after his speech, I quickly bought his book. That way I would be one of the first people in line to get my book autographed. I hope my putting money in his coffers eases his pain of not having me in the audience to ask intelligent questions. I am sure he is mourning as we speak.

He did agree to contact me in about a week, at which point I would forward him some interview questions. We spoke for a couple of minutes, and he is a genuinely likable guy. I would love to say more, but a combination of incompetence on my part and weather on the part of God prevents that.

Therefore, below are some very important writings unrelated to Bernie Goldberg.

One man that truly gets it is radio host Armstrong Williams. I am proud to call him a friend. His column this past week on why we are sliding towards socialism is an important read.

Even more important is when a great radio host interviews a great Senator. Like me, Armstrong Williams is doing what he can to help Minnesota Senator Norm Coleman. Below is Armstrong’s radio interview with Senator Coleman.

Another dear friend that offers plenty of common sense is Larry Greenfield. He is now a Vice President and Fellow at the Claremont Institute. He is concerned that America is entering the age of appeasement.

Larry used to work for the Republican Jewish Coalition. Speaking of the RJC, I will be speaking at several of their chapters around the country after my book comes out. These speeches will begin in May. To see a list of events, check their website. When my events with them are listed, I encourage people to participate.

In the world of the blogosphere, one site that is as hard hitting as it is entertaining comes in the form of Great Satan’s Girlfriend. Forget for a second that she is a hot republican woman that I want to give the ketchup bottle treatment to in abundance. She is smart as a whip, and her newest column features an altered Dr. Seuss cover entitled “Green Eggs and Hamas.”

In religious news, Monday night is the Jewish holiday of Purim.

USC Chabad will have a fabulous Purim party, as they always do. The theme this year is “Purim on the high seas.”

Happy Purim to all celebrating the holiday.

To everybody else, a peaceful Sunday to you.

If I still lived in LA my marriage would probably go to crap cuz I’d be following you to all these events. You’d probably insist on me wearing some kind of remote control muzzle.
We could team up like those two in Thunderdome “Master” and “Blaster”
You could sit on my shoulders so you’d always be called on first and any pro palestinians disguising themselves as humanitarians would think twice about making fun of your fedora.
    :-)

    Bernies great, he gets it.

  2. I love this whole “gets it” thing. Get’s what? How to wreck a superpower in 8 short years? And Armstrong Williams? Yeah, there’s a real guy! I wonder what else he would sell for $240K… What else could he sell? He already sold himself! And Goldberg? I give him some credit for what he wrote about MLB, but some of his other stuff is just such pandering tripe. This belief that somehow the “elite” are all liberals is just sooooo phony. That list of people he blamed for “screwing up America” was soooo stupid. A list of people with very little power to do much of anything but talk, while no mention of the people who were actually ruining the nation from Wall Street and the other real places of power. I don’t know about these guys, Eric. Very fishy. I’ve known drug dealers with more character than these guys.

“This belief that somehow the “elite” are all liberals is just sooooo phony. ”

Nah, he never said “ALL” liberals were elite.
Its just that most em who are nothing but a bunch of bottom feeding scavengers think they’re elite because they imagine they’ve got some insight into the world that us mere mortals could never understand.
When actually they’re anything but elite and just a club full of jerks who try to impress the whole world with old ideas as if they’re something new by applying a little PC to it.

What Bernie “GETS” is what a bunch of pandering, self conflicting, race baitng, race exploiting, America hating, enemy a$$ kissing, baby killing, media driven, about to destroy a superpower bunch of loosers liberals are.

  4. “Nah, he never said “ALL” liberals were elite.”

The point, Micky, is that “elite” is a fair slant on all those who hold their noses up to the rest of us – liberal, conservative, whatever. It’s just another word for snob.

The only “it” Bernie Goldberg “gets” is how to rile up the rabble. That stuuuuuuuupid list!

It reminds me of a converstaion I had with someone not too long ago. This person was complaining to me about what he saw as Obama proclaiming “African-American” identity and he said to me, “That’s the problem with America today! This whole “African-American,” “Latin-American” thing!” So, I responded to this guy, “Really? Really? THAT’S what’s wrong with America today??? The banks are busted, Wall Street has collapsed, we’re stuck in two wars going nowhere, our nation debt has doubled in all of eight years, our industrial base is in tatters, millions are jobless, losing their homes, their insurance, their security, we can’t afford education and healthcare, our trade deficit is through the roof, and on and on – and YOU think Obama calling himself African-American, something he almost never does anyway… THAT’S what’s wrong with America today??? Really??? That’s the stupidest &^%$#@ thing I’ve ever heard.” He changed the subject after that and never brought it up with me again.

That’s the kind of moron Bernie Goldberg appeals to – the kind of idiot who, while seeing his house burning, complains about the type of grass on his neighbors lawn. I can’t stand that kind of idiot. You know how you gauys talk about “Useful Idiots”? Well, Bernie Goldberg is a Useless Idiot.

Yes, liberals have cornered the market on this little trait.
You are the perfect example of narcissistic snobbery in that you think you are so wise ansd grand in your knowledge that we should always be willing to just take your word for it with nothing ever of any substatiality to back it up.
You morons are always the first to point out grammatical errors in that your whole life evolves around style and not substance, intentions and not results.

“The only “it” Bernie Goldberg “gets” is how to rile up the rabble. That stuuuuuuuupid list!”

If anything hes clearly without a doubt made the connection between the left and the liberal media. He presents examples that I’ve yet to see anyone defeat.
Hes really quite good at pointing out the flawed thinking and hypocrisy on the left.

“It reminds me of a converstaion I had with someone not too long ago. This person was complaining to me about what he saw as Obama proclaiming “African-American”

I cant be held resposible for the idiots you surround yourself with, and neither can Bernie.

If you’re going to deal with a problem you have to be able to indentify it in terms of its application to society.
Goldberg does this in pointing what you guys motives are and how you go about accomplishing them.
Hes good at it, like it or not.
Do you really expect me to excpect you to give kudos to a guy who can peg you for what you are ?
You sound like an American Idol rejectee going after the judges because they told you truthfully that you suck.

  6. I don’t think you understood a single word I wrote. Given that, you must adore Bernie Goldberg.

    JMJ

  7. Micky 2 says:

This line here is the exact representation of liberal elite snobbery.
When make your point accurately and tear up the liberals argument they say you just dont understand.

“I don’t think you understood a single word I wrote. Given that, you must adore Bernie Goldberg.

I understood exactly what you said and it does nothing to prove Bernie to be what you said.

  8. Micky 2 says:

    You made my point, perfectly

  9. Rosemary says:

Hi. Would it be alright if I trackbacked your post on social site? This way more Conservatives can be exposed to your writings. Just asking before I do so. ;)

  10. Rosemary says:

Thank you. You’re such a dear. Did you know you live near me? OMG! lol. Have a nice day, and I’ll get right on that trackback. I have some videos for you today. I hope you like them. God bless.

  11. Video Potpourri…

This is a ‘must see’ video created by Uncle Jimbo. It is a message for President Obama dealing with our precious men and women in uniform and the responsibility that is now all in the hands of him. It’s no longer a campaign or a game. It’s life or …
