Will this debate be more appropriate for kids?

HC: Plagiarized Alex De Tocqueville again. Diversity. Positive and optimistic view. Stronger together. I will work with every American.

DT: I agree with everything she said. When I watch horrible things…like Obamacare costs going up, Iran deal…we have such tremendous potential, but business and trade we are doing so badly. Strong border, law and order. 2 policeman killed today. We need justice. make inner cities better.

AC: Trump’s tape.

DT: I apologized. This is locker room talk. ISIS chopping off heads. So many bad things happening, this is like medieval times. I will knock the hell out of ISIS. Let’s get to more important things. I have tremendous things for women. Never did things I said. We need borders. People coming from Middle East. We need to make America safe again.

HC: With prior nominees I disagreed with them. I never questioned their fitness to serve. Donald Trump is different. The videos represents exactly who he is. He has insulted and rate women. he denigrated a former Miss Universe. He has also targeted immigrants, Latinos, POWs, Muslims. This is not who we are. She plagiarized De Tocqueville again.

DT: Just words. Hillary failed to bring back jobs to NY. Inner cities are a disaster. She has done nothing.

MR: When did campaign change him?

DT: Bill Clinton’s actions. There has never been anyone in the history of politics as abusive to women as him. Hillary Clinton abusive to women. Don’t tell me about words. Bubba was impeached. He lost his license to practice law. He paid 850,000 to Paula Jones. (audience applause)

HC: So much of what he said is not right. We should talk about plans. My friend Michelle Obama said, “When they go low, you go high.” If this were just about one video, it may be understandable. He never apologizes to anyone. The Kahns. Mexican Federal judge. Disabled reporter. Racist lie of O44’s birther. He needs to take responsibility.

DT: Your campaign, Sidney Blumenthal started the birther thing. Mrs. Obama did vicious commercials about Hillary. You cheated Bernie Sanders. See what Wikileaks said, what Debbie Wasserman Schultz did for you. Apologize for the 33,000 emails you deleted and acid washed after getting a subpoena. 2 boxes taken from an office and missing. If I win, I will hire a special prosecutor to investigate Hillary. Longtime FBI workers angry. Other lives have been destroyed for doing only 1/5 of what you have done.

HC: Everything he said is false. Go to Hillary.com and fact check him. Be glad that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge.

DT: Because you’d be in jail.

MR: Possible that hostile actors got access to your emails?

HC: Mistake, I take responsibility. Point out misleading accusations. No evidence that anyone hacked server I was using or that any classified material ended up in wrong hands.

MR: Yet she didn’t know the letter C on a document meant classified. It was not fine to delete 33,000 emails. That was after getting a subpoena. I’m disappointed in congressman including Republicans for allowing this.

HC: It’s just not true. I want to move on.

DT: Because you have nothing to say. He then complained about 1 on 3.

KK: ACA a disaster. What will you do to bring costs down?

HC: Donald will repeal it. I will fix it. 20 million people got insurance who did not have it before. Those who got health insurance through companies got big benefits. Save what works and is good. Get costs down. Repeal will kill the benefits. We would have to start over again.

DT: Obamacare is a disaster. It’s going up at numbers nobody has ever seen. In 2017 it implodes by itself. Their method of fixing it is to ask congress for more money when we’re 20 trillion in debt. It will never work. It is far too expensive. Repeal and replace it with something less expensive that actually works. Get rid of lines around states. Competitions, not monopoly. She wants single payer, that would be a disaster. Canadians come to America for healthcare. Single payer means government rules everything. Hillary Clinton has been after this for years. Rates and deductibles are going up.

AC: Bill Clinton called it crazy. Was he mistaken?

HC: He clarified his remarks. ACA was meant to fill the gap. Medicare is single payer system.

DT: Everything is bad about it. Bernie Sanders says Hillary Clinton is wrong on things. My plans will have competition. The whole thing is a fraud. Jonathan Gruber lied. O44 said you could keep your doctors and plans. We will keep preexisting. We will block grant into the states, medicaid, so we can take care of the poor.

Questioner: Islamophobia?

DT: You’re right about Islamophobia and that is a shame. However, whether we like it or not, there is a problem. When Muslims see hatred going on, they have to report it. San Bernardino, they did not. There is always a reason for everything. Look at Orlando and World Trade Center and Paris. These are Radical Islamic terrorists. O44 and Hillary won’t say those words.

HC: Unfortunately there has been divisive dark things said about Muslims. Mentioned the Khans again. We’ve had Muslims since George Washington. We’ve had successful ones, just lost Muhammad Ali. It’s dangerous and demagogic to use rhetoric Trump uses about Muslims. I intend to defeat ISIS in a coalition with Muslim nations. Trump’s rhetoric is a gift to jihadists.

MR: Total shutdown of Muslim immigration to USA. Is it still your position?

DT: Captain Khan is a hero. If I were president he would be alive today. She voted for the Iraq war. I was against it. I favor extreme vetting. In Syria they are coming in by the tens of thousands because O44 and Hillary Clinton want it. we have no idea who these people more. She wants 550% more. I believe in safe zones, having others pay for them. Persian Gulf states contributing nothing.

MR: You want an increase from 10k to 65k Syrian refugees. There is a risk.

HC: I will not let anyone in who would harm us. She spoke about children suffering. Blamed Russian aggression. Vetting as tough as it needs to be. Trump would cause great distress in our own country due to his religious tests. His ideas are unwise and dangerous. Trump supported the Iraq war.

DT: We have criminal illegal aliens. We can’t return them. Hillary said that was ok. Bernie Sanders said she had bad judgment. We are letting drugs pouring through the Southern border. ICE endorsed me. I understand the border. She wants amnesty for everyone.

Wikileaks questions about Clinton’s paid speeches. public and private position. Is it ok for politicians to be two-faced?

HC: I was talking about Abraham Lincoln after seeing Steven Spielberg Lincoln movie. I was making a strategic point. Lincoln did that. The Kremlin, Putin, hacking accounts to influence 2016 election. They want Trump elected. Maybe because he has praised Putin. Trump should release his tax returns.

DT: So ridiculous. She got caught in a total lie. Her papers went out to everyone. Now she is blaming the lie on the late great Abraham Lincoln. Honest Abe never lied. She does not know if it is the Russians. I have no business in Russia. I pay hundreds of millions in taxes. Her friends Warren Buffett and George Soros took massive deductions, more than me.

What tax provisions will you do to ensure fairness?

DT: Get rid of carried interest. Why didn’t she change the tax code when you were a senator? Because your friends take the same deductions, they give her money to spend attacking me. She’s been there for 30 years. She will never change. I’m lowering taxes. Getting rid of regulations. Bring rate down from 35 to 15%, cutting taxes big league for the middle class. She is raising your taxes really high. That will be a disaster for the country. We have no growth in this country. China has 7% GDP, we are at 1% and going lower. She is raising everyone’s taxes massively.

HC: everything you’ve heard from Donald is not true. He lives in an alternative reality. He has not paid taxes in 20 years. He will give wealthy and corporations a massive tax cut to people like him. He would raise taxes on middle class families. Nobody who makes less than 250k will have their taxes. Go where the money is. I did vote to cut corporate loopholes. Cited Buffett Rule, a dishonest rule. Since Great recession, gains have gone to the top. I want to invest in you.

AC: Do you avoid paying federal taxes?

DT: Of course I do. So do her wealthy donors. A lot of it is depreciation. I understand the tax code and its provisions. Her friends want the carried interest provision so Hillary is leaving it in. I will get rid of it. If she had a problem, she had 30 years. Healthcare, taxes…she doesn’t do anything about anything other than talk. She has made judgment on taxes, Syria, Libya, Iraq…the vacuum they left is why ISIS was created. They are now in 32 nations. Congratulations Hillary, great job.

HC: Here we go again. I tried to get it done.

DT: Why didn’t you do it?

HC: We had a Republican President.

DT: You were ineffective.

HC: I helped first responders after 9/11 and helped children. As Secretary of State I went around the world. I advocated for women’s rights. I negotiated a treaty with Russia to lessen nuclear weapons. 400 pieces of legislation have my name on it. I will take that bipartisan work and get things done.

MR: Syria. Aleppo. What would you do about the humanitarian crisis? Isn’t it like the Holocaust?

HC: Syria situation is catastrophic. Assad partnering with Iranians. Russian air force trying to destroy Aleppo and Syrian rebels. Russia wants to keep Assad in power. I advocated a no fly zone. We need leverage with Russians. We must work with partners and allies on the ground. Russia has decided it is all in on Syria. They want Trump to be president. I’ve stood up to Russia. I will take on Putin. It’s how we got sanctions on Iran. Investigate Assad for war crimes.

DT: She was there as Secretary of State when red line was drawn. It was laughed at all over the world. She talks tough but our nuclear program has fallen behind while they run wild. We are old tired, exhausted in terms of nuclear. She does not even know who the rebels are. Whenever we arm rebels, we arm people who are even worse. Look at what happened in Libya. Almost everything she has done in foreign policy has been a mistake and a disaster. She made Iran more powerful with the dumbest deal I have ever seen. Assad, Russia and Iran are killing ISIS.

Question reiterated. Humanitarian crisis. Cited Pence.

Trump disagreed with Pence’s willingness to use force to overthrow Assad. We have to take care of ISIS. Aleppo is a disaster. It has basically fallen. Look at Mosul. We announced what we are doing and telegraph it to our enemies. I have 200 generals and 21 medal of honor winners endorsing me. George Patton and Doug MacArthur are spinning in their graves over what we are doing.

MR: Would you use military force on Syria?

HC: I would not use American ground forces in Syria. That would be a mistake to be an occupying force. Special forces is good. Enablers and trainers.

MR: What would you do differently than O44?

DT: Everything.

HC: I hope it would be solved by the time I am out of office. I would go after Bagdhaddy. I would also consider arming the Kurds.

Questioner: Can you be a devoted president to all the people?

DT: Absolutely. She calls our people deplorable and irredeemable. I will turn our cities around. I will bring jobs back. NAFTA signed by her husband was the worst trade deal ever. We lost our jobs, money, plants. Now she wants to sign TPP. She called it the gold standard, but she lies about a lot of everything. Inner cities have 45% poverty for African-Americans. Jobs are essentially non-existent. What do you have to lose? It can’t get any worse. If she is president, nothing is going to happen. Take a look at Upstate New York.

HC: 67% people voted for me when I ran for reelection in NY. I have tried my entire life to support children and families. I worked for the Children’s Defense Fund. I was a young lawyer working on discrimination against African-Americans. I have a deep devotion to making sure every American feels like they have a place in our country. A lot of people write me and worry they would not have a place in Trump’s America. Told a sob story about an American kid in Ethiopia. The Trump effect: bullying is up. I will reach out to everybody. If you don’t vote for me, I still want to be your president.

AC: Brought up basket of deplorables comment. How can unite america if you have written off tens of millions of Americans?

HC: I apologized. My problem is not with his supporters, but with him. What he has said about various peoples, he has never apologized. I am proud of the campaign Bernie Sanders and I ran.

DT: We have a very divided nation. Charlotte, Baltimore, Chicago, DC. Increase in murder, biggest increase in 45 years. People like her…she has tremendous hate in her heart. When she said deplorable and irredeemable, she meant it. This country cannot take another 4 years of o44, and that is what you have with her.

AC: Trump tweeting at 3am. Discipline problem?

DT: Let’s talk 3am issues. Let’s talk about Benghazi. Ambassador Stevens sent 600 requests for help and all she did was talk to sidney Blumenthal. Tweeting is a modern day effective communication tool.

AC: Does Trump have discipline to be a good leader?

HC: No.

DT: I’m shocked to hear that.

HC: This is a difficult job. I watched my husband take a 300 billion deficit and turn it into a 200 million surplus, 22 million new jobs. I worked with George W. Bush after 9/11. He never wavered. He stuck with me. I admire O44 for saving us from great depression. Trump would send us back into recession.

DT: Slowest growth since 1929.

Questioner: What is most important aspect of selecting supreme Court justice?

HC: Judges who understand way world really works, real life experience. Current court has gone in wrong direction. Reverse Citizens United. Get dark unaccountable money out of politics. Voting rights are still a problem. Stick with Roe vs Wade and marriage equality. Trump’s admired judges would reverse Roe v Wade and marriage equality. I want a SCOTUS that does not always side with corporate interests. Wealthy people should not have more rights. Senate has not done its job regarding Merrick Garland. I will immediately fill that void.

DT: Justice Scalia, great judge. I want judges in the mold of Scalia. I picked 20 of them, highly respected, beautifully reviewed. Respect the Constitution and the Second Amendment which is under siege by Hillary Clinton. I am putting in 100 million of my own money. She receives money from wealthy donors. How did Hillary Clinton make 250 million from her office and while she was Secretary of State.

HC: I respect the Second Amendment. I believe in background checks.

Questioner: Energy policy. How do we be environmentally friendly while still preserving jobs?

DT: Energy is under siege by O44’s Administration. EPA is killing these energy companies. Foreign entities are buying our plants. We need more than wind and solar. Hillary wants to put all the miners out of business. Clean coal will last 1,000 years. Natural gas. We have found tremendous wealth under our feet. I will bring our energy companies back. They will make money and pay off our national debt. We are currently putting our energy companies out of business. Look at steel, with China dumping and killing our steel industry. Go to West Virginia or Ohio or Pennsylvania, look at what the EPA is doing to miners. It is a disgrace.

HC: Trump is buying steel from China and putting people out of work. We are for the first time ever industry independent. However, the Middle East controls a lot of the oil. Natural gas serves as a bridge to renewable fuels. We have got to remain energy independent. I have a comprehensive energy policy. It includes fighting climate change. We can be the 21st century clean energy super power. I can help us revitalize coal country.

Questioner: Would either of you name one positive thing about the other one?

HC: I respect his children. They are incredibly able and devoted. That reflects well on him. This election has become so conflict oriented because so much is at stake. That’s why I have tried to get away from personal and move toward policy.

DT: I take her statement about my children to be a compliment. She doesn’t quit. She doesn’t give up. She’s a fighter. I disagree with what she is fighting for, but she does fight and that is a good trait.

2016 VP Debate Recap

Democrat: Virginia Governor Tim Kaine

The two men shook hands in a very collegial manner. Sitting at the table.

EQ: Why are you qualified to be president?

TK: Platitudes. Stronger together. Community of respect. Cited Brown v Board of Education. He has been a missionary and a civil rights lawyer. To be Hillary Clinton’s right-hand person. We trust her. Donald Trump scares us.

MP: America’s place in world weaken, economy stifled, war on coal. Small town boy from the cornfield. I bring a lifetime of experience. I led a state that works.

EQ: Why do 60% distrust Hillary Clinton? Is it because of the email server and the Clinton Foundation?

TK: They should trust her because she has a passion and follows that passion. Her life’s work is putting others first. Trump always puts others first. He built his business on the backs of the little guy.

EQ: Why do so many Americans think Trump lacks the temperament?

MP: TK and Hillary Clinton would know about the insult driven campaign. Syria is the failed foreign policy of Hillary Clinton. Kaine interrupted and the moderator stopped him. Trump built a business. He’s employed tens of thousands of people. Kaine interrupted again.

TK: You are Donald Trump’s Apprentice. Governor Pence thinks the world isn’t going so well?

MP: Do you?

TK kept interrupting. Given that this debate had the two guys calmly at the table, Kaine came across as bombastic.

MP: Iraq has been overrun by ISIS.

TK: Blamed George W. Bush 43 for Iraq.

ECONOMY

EQ: Your plans add more debt. Are you concerned?

MP: Hillary Clinton doubled the debt. Indiana has a 2 billion surplus. TK tried to 1 raise taxes 1 trillion, left Virginia 2 billion in the whole. Bill Clinton called ACA a crazy plan. Hillary Clinton thinks it’s a good start. Repeal ACA lock, stock and barrel. Repeal O44 executive orders. Repeal war on coal. Get back to 3-4% growth, we can bring down debt.

TK: Choice between “you’re hired” of Hillary or “you’re fired” by Trump.

EQ: Trump’s tax return. Is it fair?

MP: More taxes, 2 trillion more spending, more deficits, more debt. Slowest economic recovery since the Great Depression. People in Scranton know different. People in Fort Wayne more different.

Trump is a businessman who used the tax code legally. He has created tens of thousands of jobs.

TK: Trump broke his word. Trump thinks it’s smart not to pay for our military and our veterans.

EQ: How would you save Social Security?

TK: We will protect SS. We will never ever engage in a risky scheme to privatize SS. We will look for ways to keep it solvent.

MP: We are going to meet our obligations to our seniors.

TK: Insisted Trump will raise taxes on middle class.

EQ: Law enforcement and race relations—Do we ask too much of cops?

TK: We put a lot on police shoulders. We support community policing. Trump supports stop and frisk. That polarizes the relationship. Hillary has a comprehensive plan. I’m a strong Second Amendment supporter. If we close background checks, we won’t have incidents like Virginia Tech. Blamed the death of a Holocaust survivor in Virginia Tech shooting on not enough gun control.

MP: Police officers are the best of it. My grandfather was a cop. We agree withy community policing. We need law and order. Fraternal Order of Police supports Trump. Cops hear bad-mouthing coming from O44 & Hillary. Using broad brush of institutional racism has to stop. Charlotte was a tragedy, but Hillary Clinton called it implicit bias in the police force. It was a black cop who shot a black victim.

TK: People should not be afraid to bring up implicit bias.

MP: I’m not afraid to bring that up.

TK: Minneapolis victim was killed for no apparent reason. Minorities get harsher sentences.

MP: Indiana has passed criminal justice reform.

EQ: Senator Tim Scott has been stopped seven times. What would you say?

MP: Senator Scott is a close friend. We need criminal justice reform. I signed it in Indiana. I worked on the Second Chance Act. Trump and I say we should not assume the worst of cops. Law enforcement is a force for good. TK rejects stop and frisk.

TK: Trump has attacked Mexicans and women and an Indiana born federal judge. He attacked Senator John McCain. Trump was a birther, an outrageous and bigoted lie.

EQ: Immigration. What would you tell undocumented immigrants who have not committed violent crimes?

MP: Trump will end illegal immigration. Hillary and TK support open borders. This leads to sanctuary cities and more crime, and drive wages down. Hillary Clinton said Trump supporters were a basket of deplorable and irredeemable.

TK: Hillary walked it back. Trump will never apologize. We believe in comprehensive immigration reform. Trump wants deportation nation. He and MP want to eliminate birthright citizenship. They want to kick out 16 million people.

MP: We already have a deportation force. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. They endorsed Trump. Hillary wants open borders. Trump laid out priorities that begin with border security. There is heartbreak and tragedies befalling families because those who came here illegally are committing crimes. We will enforce the law of this country. TK, I’ll work with you when you go back to the Senate.

TK: Trump said they will all be gone. We are a nation of immigrants. MP and I are both from immigrant families.

EQ: Terrorism. Is world safer or more dangerous than 8 years ago?

TK: Decreased in some ways. Bin Laden dead. Not 175,000 soldiers in Iraq. Hillary was a Senator on 9/11. She has a plan. She was part of the team who wiped out ISIL. We have to work with allies. Trump can’t start a Twitter war with Miss Universe without shooting himself in the foot. Trump thinks he knows more than the generals. He trash talks the military. He wants to tear up alliances. He only wants to work with Israel if they pay up big league. He wants more nations like Saudi Arabia to have nuclear weapons.

MP: Did you work on that one a long time? America is less safe than when Barack Obama became president. Lack of leadership. I was in DC on 9/11. O44 got the head of al Qaeda. The threat today is ISIS. ISIS was created because we abandoned Iraq. This administration squandered the Iraq gains. You didn’t stop Iran’s nuclear program. You guaranteed they would get nuclear weapons.

EQ: Homegrown attacks. What would you do to prevent those?

MP: It starts with reforming immigration and putting the safety of Americans first. Don’t allow people in who are hostile to our Bill of Rights. We will suspend Syrian refugee program. Hillary and TK want to increase Syrian refugee program.

TK: We want to focus on who is dangerous. They say all Mexicans are bad.

MP: 2 Syrian refugees were involved in the attack on Paris. FBI Director said we cannot know who the people coming in are. We have to err on the side of protecting the people first.

EQ: What is an intelligence surge?

TK: Hiring great professionals, working with best cyber professionals. Creating stronger alliances. Trump thinks NATO is obsolete. Hillary built sanctions that stopped Iran.

MP: Hillary Clinton had a private server that revealed drone strikes.

TK: She was cleared by Republican FBI Director.

MP: If your son or mine did what Hillary Clinton did, they would-be imprisoned.

EQ: Syria. Does the USA have a responsibility to prevent mass casualties?

MP: We need strong leadership. Hillary was responsible for Russian reset. Russians took over Crimea and invaded Ukraine. Putin puts missile defense system in Syria while O44 retreats. We must rebuild our military. Smallest Navy since 1916. Lowest number of troops since WWII. Syria, establish safe zones. Russian provocations need to be met with American strengths. The USA should be prepared to use military force. Deploy a missile defense shield to Poland and Czech Republic, which O44 and Hillary undid.

TK: Agree on humanitarian zone. Hillary can stand up to Russia in a way the GOP ticket cannot. Trump campaign had pro-Putin forces in it. Trump belongs in a fifth grade civics class. Trump will not rebuild military. He is avoiding taxes.

MP: Weak and feckless O44 and Hillary Clinton foreign policy has awakened the Russian bear. All we do is fold our hands and say we will not talk to them.

EQ: How do safe zones work?

MP: Framework exists with our allies. I was on the Foreign Affairs Committee for a decade.

TK: We stopped Iranian nuclear weapons. We’re down from 175,000 Iraq troops to 15,000 troops. Ronald Reagan said some fool or maniac could blow us all up. That person is Donald Trump.

MP: That was even beneath you and Hillary Clinton, and that is pretty low.

TK: Implied that Israel supported the Democrat ticket.

MP: You boycotted Israeli PM Netanyahu’s speech to Congress.

TK: Pence cannot defend Trump.

EQ: What can be done to counter Putin’s Russian aggression?

TK: Don’t praise Putin. Trump and Pence say he is a great leader. Hillary went toe to toe with Russia. She lodged protests when they eat into Georgia. We put punishing sanctions on Russia. Trump will put his own bottom line ahead of the country.

MP: Hillary’s Russian reset directly led to Russia gobbled up Crimea. Trump said this was not happen again. Russia has increased its influence in Iran. Iran is on the path to nuclear weapons. Syria is imploding. ISIS is headquartered in Rocca. TK is a loyal soldier who keeps saying we are safer. We gave a ransom payment to Iran.

EQ: You said Putin has no respect for O44 or Hillary. Why would he respect Trump?

MP: Strength. We have a stronger military and economy. Bullying leader of Russia has been stronger than our leader. Weak and feckless leadership of O44 and Hillary. Putin has been stronger on the world stage.

EQ: What went wrong with the Russian reset?

TK: Vladimir Putin. He is a dictator. Hillary knows exactly who he is. There are areas we can cooperate. She knows how to sit down at a table and negotiate tough deals.

EQ: North Korea conducted fifth and most powerful nuclear test. What would you do?

MP: We need to make a commitment to rebuild our military, modernize our nuclear forces. We need to work with Pacific Rim nations to pressure North Korea. With Trump, we will not have the posture of the world flouting American power. Return to peace through strength. TK keeps obsessing over Trump’s tax returns. Clinton Foundation accepted millions of dollars from foreign donors. This is illegal. Foreign governments donated millions, and half of her meetings were with Foundation donors. She operates the pay to play politics.

TK: I am glad to talk about the Foundation. It is one of the highest rated foundations in the world. It ranks higher than the Red Cross. Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State took no action to benefit the Foundation. The State Department conducted the investigation and backs her up. Trump made an illegal contribution to Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

MP: Trump foundation, almost every cent goes to charity. Less than 10 cents on the dollar of the Clinton Foundation goes to charity. Hillary should turn over her 33,000 emails so we can see what the Foundation does.

EQ: Preemptive nuclear strike on North Korea if they launched a missile?

TK: You would have to take action. I am on the Foreign Relations Committee. We issued sanctions. We’re working with China. Hillary stood up on women’s issues while speaking in China. He returned to Trump’s business dealings for about the billionth time.

EQ: Social issues. When did you struggle to balance your faith and public policy?

TK: I’m an Irish Catholic. Worked with Jesuit missionaries in Honduras. I don’t believe one religion should be put above any other one. My struggle was with the death penalty. I am against it, but as Governor of Virginia I had to enforce it. I upheld the law when there is no case for clemency. We cannot substitute our own views for everyone else’s.

MP: My Christian faith is at the very heart of who I am. For me, the sanctity of life is key. Indiana has expanded non-abortion alternatives. We are on our way to be the most pro-adoption state. I don’t understand how Hillary Clinton and TK can support partial birth abortion. Hillary Clinton wants to repeal Hyde Amendment that bans using tax dollars to fund overseas abortion.

TK: Hillary is religious. Her Methodist teachings matter to her. The public servant cannot mandate religion. We support Roe vs Wade. We trust American to make their own decision. Trump thinks women should be punished. MP wants to overturn Roe vs Wade.

MP: Trump and I would never support legislation to punish women. Trump is not a polished politician like Hillary and TK. Regarding Mexicans, Trump also said that many of them are good people. TK has supported the Hyde Amendment. We need a culture that embraces life. Mother Theresa said we should welcome the children into our world.

TK: Why don’t you and Trump trust women to make that choice themselves?

MP: A society is judged by how it handles its most vulnerable. I’m proud to stand with a pro-life candidate.

EQ: How will you unify the country?

TK: Hillary is about ideas, Trump is about insults. Republican Senators respect and hold Hillary in high regard. She worked across the aisle after 9/11. She has a track record of working across the aisle. I have the same track record in Virginia. I have two Republican Houses I have to work with.

MP: We can weaken America like O44 and Hillary Clinton have with higher taxes, more regulations, and the war on coal. The best way to bring people together is change in DC. The potential is there, but it will take leadership. I was in congress for 12 years. Americans want to see us standing tall, rebuilding our military, and an economy off to the races again. Trump is about building. Smarts and ingenuity. Making America Great Again will bring real change. That will bring Americans together and bring the unity that has been missing for far too long.

The moderator was excellent. She was fair, polite and focused.

Mike Pence was serious, sober, and warm.

Tim Kaine acted like an obnoxious lout, repeatedly lobbing the same insults.

In the same way Trump kept interrupting Hillary in the presidential debate, Kaine kept doing that to Pence. Like Hillary, Pence did not take the bait.

Pence clearly won this debate.

Why are you better on economic growth?

Hillary Clinton: I want to invest in you. Make economy fairer. Equal pay for women’s work. I want more companies to do profit sharing. Having the wealthy pay their fair share.

Donald Trump: Our jobs are fleeing the country. Ford is leaving. Leaving Michigan, leaving Ohio. Childcare, “Hillary and I agree on that.” Reducing taxes tremendously.

HC: Smart, fair trade deals. Donald is trickle-down economics. Trumped up trickle down. Went after Donald’s father for leaving him money. Invest in you.

LH: How do we bring back companies?

DT: Defended his father, spoke about tax disadvantages. Secretary Clinton had 30 years to fix this. Don’t let the jobs leave.

HC: Blamed GOP for 2008 crisis. Donald was one of the people who rooted for the housing crisis.

DT: That’s called business by the way.

HC: Independent experts like her plan. She claimed Trump said Climate Change is Chinese plot. He interrupted her and said this is not true.

DT: We invested in solar and lost money. O44 doubled debt. HC had 30 years. She didn’t bring back jobs. You can’t bring back jobs.

HC: Cited Bubba’s record. Wants a special prosecutor for trade.

DT: NAFTA the worst trade deal ever. You want TPP.

HC: Donald, I know you live in your reality. I wrote a book about it. We have a very robust set of plans.

DT: He said Hillary would cut taxes before correcting himself and saying she would raise taxes. Your regulations are a disaster. You will drive jobs out.

HC: Her home page is a fact-checker.

DT: No wonder you’ve been fighting ISIS your entire adult life.

LH: Why is raising or lowering taxes good?

DT: Spoke of repatriated assets. He yelled.

HC “I have a feeling by the end of this evening I will be blamed for everything.” she accused trump of saying “crazy things.” Broad based, inclusive growth.

DT: All talk. No action. Typical politician. Sounds good. doesn’t work. We are in a big fat ugly bubble. The Fed is doing political things.

LH: Trump’s tax returns?

DT: I will release them when my audit is done. I will release my tax returns when she releases her 33,000 emails.

HC: Trump is bait and switch. Maybe he’s not as rich as he says he is or as charitable as he claims to be. He owes 650 million to Wall Street and foreign banks. He’s paid nothing in federal taxes. There’s something he’s hiding. I made a mistake. I take responsibility.

DT: That was more than a mistake. That was done purposely. I am very under leveraged. It is about time we have somebody running this country that had an idea about money. We owe 20 trillion dollars and we are a mess. 6 trillion spent in the Middle East. We could have rebuilt this country twice. We don’t have any money because you squandered it.

HC: I’ve met people who have been stiffed by your businesses. You’ve taken business bankruptcy 6 times.

DT: I’ve built a great company. I’ll get to the White House one way or another. The budget is a bad because we have people who don’t know what to do and what to buy.

LH: How do we bridge racial gap?

HC: Tulsa and Charlotte. Restore trust between communities and the police. Everyone should respect the law. She proposed more gun grabbing.

DT: She won’t say law and order. Fraternal Order of Police endorsed me. Inner cities, minorities are living in hell. 4,000 killed in Chicago since O44 was elected. supports stop and frisk. Many gang members are here illegally. Our police are afraid of doing anything.

HC: Trump paints a dark picture of inner cities. Systemic racism. End private prisons. Common gun sense gun control.

LH: Are whites guilty of implicit bias?

HC: We all have implicit bias.

DT: NRA endorsing me. Hillary called blacks super predators. Stop and frisk brought 2,200 murders in NYC down to 500.

HC: DeBlasio good. Trump disagreed.

DT: Politicians have let down blacks. Democrats control inner cities.

HC: I think Donald Trump just accused me of preparing for this debate. I am also prepared to be president.

LH: Birther issue

DT: I figured you’d ask the question. Sidney Blumenthal started it for Hillary.

HC: Trump started it.

DT: You treated O44 with terrible disrespect. Now you act holier than thou.

LH: Cybersecurity

HC: I’ll get tough with Russia. Trump invited Putin to hack into America.

DT: Hillary endorsed by political hacks. We don’t know who hacked DNC. Under O44 we’ve lost control of many things.

HC: My plan to defeat ISIS involves going online. We’re making progress.

LH: Various homegrown attacks on American soil.

DT: O44 & Hillary Clinton left Iraq, which created the vacuum where ISIS was formed. We should have taken the oil. Libya was another one of her disasters.

HC: I hope the fact-checkers are working overtime. Trump supported Iraq War and Libya invasion. Trump said he did not. GW Bush created agreement to leave Iraq. Intelligence surge. Work with our allies. Trump insults Muslims.

DT: The Middle East is a mess, largely due to Hillary Clinton. Iran deal a disaster. NATO not paying their fair share.

LH: Trump supported Iraq

DT: No I didn’t. Cited Sean Hannity several times. I have better judgment than Hillary Clinton and better temperament than her.

HC: She laughed and spoke of NATO Article 5. I voted for Iran sanctions. Trump would start a nuclear war. A man who can be provoked by a tweet should not be trusted with nuclear codes.

DT: Nuclear war the greatest threat, not global warming. Japan and Germany should be paying us for defending them.

LH: 1st sheik?

DT: I would not do 1st strike. China should handle North Korea. Iran deal the worst. We paid 1.7 billion in cash to Iran for hostages. Netanyahu is not a happy camper.

HC: Words matter. We will honor our treaties. The only secret is Trump has no plan.

DT: Hillary created ISIS. We cannot be the policeman of the world. She has no ability.

LH: Hillary the first female nominee

DT: Hillary does not have the stamina to be president. We should not be defending Saudi Arabia.

HC: As soon as he travels to 112 countries, he can talk to me about stamina.

DT: Hillary has experience, but it’s bad experience.

HC: Trump insults women.

DT: Rosie O’Donnell deserves it. Hillary spends millions on negative ads.

LH: Are you willing to accept outcome?

HC: I accept democracy.

DT:  Many people given citizenship erroneously. I’ll accept the results.
